But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Fun fact: it’s actually impossible to have a truly “all-natural” candle! Absolutely nothing about making candles is a natural process. That being said, you can get pretty close. My “all-natural” claim refers to using pure soy wax with soy-based additives in all of my products. Soy is a sustainable, more eco-friendly wax (and it supports American farmers) that burns much cleaner and slower than paraffin. This means that your candles will last longer.
The fragrance oils I use are all high-quality, phthalate-free, and free from any of the toxins on California's Prop 65 list. I use only cotton wicks with paper cores.
What does all of this mean? My candles are about as clean-burning as candles can be.
Currently, I offer 2.5oz and 6oz candles, wax melts and room & linen sprays. I plan to eventually offer larger sized candles as well.
Yes! I have spent a considerable amount of time ensuring that my business is as eco-friendly and low waste as possible. My shipping boxes and paper wrap are recyclable (I'm working on upgrading my packing tape too!), and my packing peanuts are biodegradable and can be dissolved in water. Empty candle jars can also be recycled after removing any leftover wax, and plastic clamshells can be recycled. Bubble mailers can be dropped off at any location that accepts plastic grocery bags.
Even my sample cups are 100% biodegradable and made from plants :)
I do, but please allow a minimum of 1-2 weeks for your order to be ready to ship to you. In order to ensure that I am consistently putting out a high-quality product, my candles require an ample amount of time to cure before they can be burned.
This is called frosting. Frosting occurs when a white crystalline layer forms on the surface of natural waxes such as soy. This is a completely normal thing, and happens as a result of the wax trying to return to its natural state (a soybean, in this instance). It does not affect the burn quality at all.
It is my personal choice to only ship via USPS in support of our amazing postal workers. Please note that because of Covid-19 as well as the ongoing changes to USPS, this may impact shipping times. My shipping rates are determined by the cost of ensuring that your products arrive to you in perfect condition, as well as any changes to the market. Plus, I offer free shipping if you spend $35!
